Are you a Certified Prosthetist that wants to work in a rewarding team-oriented environment with opportunities to excel? We are currently searching for a Certified Prosthetist to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Orthotics and Prosthetics Department, located in the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, is a busy shop working with a team of up to 4 Prosthetists, 4 Orthotists, 2 Prosthetic Technicians, 2 Orthotic Technicians, and a Pedorthist. Our innovative team works collaboratively with 5 on-site Physiatrists and multiple Physical and Occupational Therapists providing publically funded devices to clients throughout all of Southern Saskatchewan.

Job Summary: The Certified Prosthetist is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team who provide prosthetic services by way of assessing, manufacturing and fitting prosthetic appliances as prescribed by a Physiatrist.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited prosthetics program, recognized by OPC; Eligibility or Current Registration with OPC
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong clinical and technical skills in the assessment, fabrication and fit of prosthetic devices
Communicate clearly with client care team and manager
Respond professionally to any client, staff or public complaint
Accountable for quality and timely management of assigned caseload
Demonstrate sound judgement, critical thinking, time management and effective problem solving skills.
Manages change effectively, demonstrates positive attitude and empowers /motivates others to do their best
Professional manner and presentation in all interactions with coworkers, peers, clients and public
Rate of Pay: $42.84/hr to $52.07/hr (5 Step Range)
